Sans Serif: CognitaSans Heavy Italic [STD] [PRO]

CognitaSans Heavy Italic

CognitaSans was conceived as a neutral, easy-to-read typeface for identity, editorial and in- formation design. With seven cuts and seven true italics, from thin to heavy, CognitaSans is a workhorse typeface full of OpenType features such as small caps, table- and OldStyle-Figures, CE marks and alternate letters. The curves are soft and supple, ensuring legibility even in very poor conditions, and the neutrality allows this font to be used with any serif companion.

The CognitaSans is the first finalized family of the trio of Sans, Slab and Serif. The Slab and the Serif will follow soon.

We don't love capital. But the small caps!

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure.
